AGARTALA, Oct 21 (TIWN): A BJP Minister’s son allegedly raped a 16 year old minor girl in Fatikroy Kumarghat, but till now no arrest has yet been done. Raising this allegation Congress today gheraoed Kumarghat PS, seeking punishment of the accused for raping a 16 year old minor girl.

Congress alleged the heavyweight leaders are creating pressure on the Police.

The Congress expressed resentment as the Police not have played role accordingly by detaining the accused as the accused is a BJP’s heavy weight leader’s son.

Raising this issue Congress has called a strike for 12 hours in Kumarghat subdivision on Saturday to protest this incident.
