AGARTALA, Oct 19 (TIWN): 10323 teachers’ groups are reeling under divisions as BJP backed 10323 teachers’ group has called for a hunger strike which was silent till now. It has been suspected that it's an intrigue to save 10323 teachers' families vote banks in 2023 Assembly Poll. Amra 10323 teachers’ group appealed to all terminated teachers to stay united and not to fall into traps of that group. Talking to media, Amra 10323 teachers said, “For last many years, we have been facing police brutality. We are the persons who are undergoing tough times and have been under police attack. We have been beaten up by police on street and now to move the direction they are staging drama”.
10323 teachers further slammed former CM Biplab Deb and CM Manik Saha both for not keeping promises.
Teachers group members said, “Our demand is one that is to get back our jobs. If the cabinet wants it can solve our problems in one day”.
It can be mentioned here that 10323 teachers were promised by BJP that if it comes to power, by amending a new bill, 10323 teachers will be reappointed. But so far around 2 years have gone that the teachers are jobless raising the death toll to 142.
