AGARTALA, Oct 17 (TIWN): Praising BJP led State Govt its cabinet decision for 3% and 5% DA hikes recently for the Govt employees, Tripura CM Manik Saha on Monday while addressing at Dumboor, Narikelkunj after inaugurating tourist-huts, pulled the previous Left Govt for forcing State Employees to pay hefty donations to the Communist Govt.
“Everyone knows, a huge amount was slashed from the salaries of the employees under the previous Govt. We have stopped the extortion culture. That injustice with employees is not happening now and in the future also it will not happen”, said CM Manik Saha.
Saha further mentioned Self-help groups have increased by 7% now which means people are really getting benefits out of it.
He said, for women 30% reservation has been done aiming women's empowerment.
“Our Govt is trying to bring robust development in various sectors. We will go to people with report cards in hands when we have to seek vote for the next assembly poll”, Saha told the rally at Dumboor.
