AGARTALA, Oct 17 (TIWN): Former Chief Minister cum Opposition leader Manik Sarkar called for united battle of non-BJPs to end the “Kushashan” of BJP.
Addressing a party meeting in one of the offices in Melarmath, Sarkar on Sunday said, “Unless we can weaken the BJP and strengthen our base with more numbers of people, supporters in our party, defeat of BJP will not be a reality in 2023 poll. We have to use the people’s resentment against BJP as weapon”.
“People are frustrated with this JUMLA Govt. 56 months of fascist Govt has turned lives miserable. Oppositions are heavily attacked and the Leftists are being attacked at highest level. Now, we have to be united against the evil power to restore democracy”, said Sarkar.
Manik Sarkar further slammed the BJP Govt over 10323 teachers’ issue and deteriorating law and order in the state.
