AGARTALA, Oct 14 (TIWN): Chief Minister Manik Saha on Friday during his Kailashahar visit stated that not a single political murder happened in Tripura since 2018.
The statement came amid opposition alleged over 23 political murder occurred in state including CPI-M and Trinamool members.
However, CM was silent about national report which ranked Tripura as the top state in political violence.
Saha said, “During President’s visit, allegation raised that oppositions were not invited. First of all they do not attend our program even after invitation is sent and continuously allege that there are heavy violence in the state. Nobody can claim that a single political murder happened in this state since 2018”.
