KAILASHAHAR, Oct 14 (TIWN): Ahead of Chief Minister Manik Saha’s visit to Kailashahar, BJP leaders have criticized the Govt for pathetic road conditions. The people close to the mandal president strongly criticized the administration for not repairing the broken roads. The incident happened in Gobindapur area in Kailashahar city. On Friday, October 14, around 10 o'clock in the morning, the common people of Gobindpur area and those close to BJP Kailasahar mandal held a protest, seeking immediate repairing of the road.
CM was to inaugurate a science building there and ahead of CM’s visit, the protest was held as the administration was hastily renovating the road with sand and bricks as the Chief Minister would arrive. Again this reform is not being done permanently. When it rains, this sand and brick debris will be washed away by the rainwater.
Locals said that even after repeated complaints, the administration did not take any role, to repair the road. In protest, they staged the demonstration.
