AGARTALA, Oct 13 (TIWN): Why hasn’t the Govt announced a holiday on President Droupadi Murmu’s visit days as common men continue to suffer for two days centering President’s visit?

Since the last two days, police are allegedly harassing common men in the name of safety measurement but the VIP culture of the Indian system has not spared the sick people and office goers remained stuck whole day in various parts of the state. 

Vehicle crisis, stoppages caused chaos in the state especially in Agartala and Udaipur as the President had programs in both places. Traffic movement was fully jammed on Thursday causing endless sufferings to common men.

Bikers, vehicle drivers suffered a lot. No vehicle movement was allowed in various places since morning.

Vehicles were stranded for hours in many places centering President’s programs.
