Extortions continue in the name of Durga Puja Donation in Santir Bazar

SANTIR BAZAR, Oct 8 (TIWN): A viral video has shown that club members of Santir Bazar Purba Para Durga Puja Committee members have been threatening the employees of Ajanata Showroom after he was unable to give them more than Rs. 500.
The employee was not only threatened but was physically assaulted. Slang words were used against him.
Later, the shop was vandalized and the lights were damaged by the club mafias.
However, police lodged a case but no action was taken against any of the club members.
The extortion is being continued amid the Durga puja has ended.
