AGARTALA, Oct 8 (TIWN): Little people with big-power are often proven destructive for their society and Tripura BJP’s newly appointed Minister Bhagaban Das is replicating the same image. Locals of Kumarghat blocked road in protest against Police barbarism on them on Dashami night which was conducted allegedly after Minister Bhagaban Das had ordered for it. Local people said centering the Durga puja, small scale businessmen opened stalls, restaurants but suddenly police arrived in the Kumarghat market and asked, why the shops were opened till late night and started lathi-charge.

Even women were attacked by male police during the barbaric attack. The attack also continued house to house.

The situation worsened after from gold chain to cash were looted during the attack. Allegation raised against Partha Munda for conducting this barbaric attack.

Public called the local MLA but he said he was sleeping on that time. Locals demanded justice and compensation against the loss.

Many were hospitalized after the police attack on masses.
