AGARTALA, Oct 2 (TIWN): Reportedly, Sushmita Roy, wife of Sahdeb Shil, a resident of Phontamati area gave birth to a baby girl on 28th Sept in Udaipur Tepaniya Hospital. After giving birth both the mother and baby girl were healthy. Sahadev Shil hired two special nurses to look after them and paid them to get better service. But on the morning of Maha Saptami, special nurse Pallavi Sarkar and Nargis Begum suddenly started running and took the baby girl to the ICU room on the 3rd floor of the hospital, where the baby was declared death. On this day, Sahdev Shil, the father of demise girl child, complained that the girl child died due to complete negligence of Pallavi Sarkar and Nargis Begum, special nurses of Tepaniya District Hospital. Later, the daughter's father Sahdev Shil filed a case against the two special nurses at the Radhakishorepur PS seeking Justice.

According to the hospital sources, both the nurses Nargis Begum and Pallavi Sarkar often show negligence in providing their duties in the hospital. Reportedly, both the nurses provide ill treatment towards the patients including patient parties.

The incident of the death of a girl child created a lot of tension in the entire Udaipur Tepania Hospital.
