AGARTALA, Sep 29 (TIWN): Locals of Bamuitia area caught a man along with scooty on suspicion of theft from Durga Bari Bamutia area adjacent to MLA’s residence late last night.

Reportedly, the local people of the area noticed an unknown man roaming around and caught him. Later, the Airport PS Police rushed to the spot on receiving such news and detained the man identified as Shankar Sarkar, resident of Bhagalpur Panchayat.

 It is allegedly, he could not answer properly to the local people’s questions. However, Shankar claimed that one of his brothers was in the area and came there to deliver Cannabis and Phensedyl and he rushed at Bamutia area to pick up his brother, who is involved in drug business.

The police said that he will be taken to the airport police station, after questioning, necessary arrangements will be taken.
