AGARTALA, Sep 28 (TIWN): Opposing NEP (National Education Policy) -2020, AIDSO staged protest rally in city Agartala on 116th Birth Anniversary of Bhagat Singh, on Wednesday.

From the rally a AIDSO leader named Ram Prasad Acharya alleged that NEP (National Education Policy) -2020 is an anti-student Policy. Opposing NEP-2020 a signature campaign of 1 crore was taken and the Signatures of 1 crore people has done and now will be sent to PM via all states Governor.

The leader said that in this NEP, Class 1 and Class-2 is set under Anganwadi, and said that students of Class-3, Class-5 and Class-8 can give only exams even the Madhyamik exam will be withdrawn. In this NEP-2020, Man Making Character building will not happen, so AIDSO demanded that the Policy should be withdrawn immediately.
