Agartala, January 12 (TIWN): The newly sworn Tripura Pradesh Congress Chief Birajit Sinha will arrive the State on Tuesday noon. Starting from airport a rally would travel all over the city and ends at the premises of Congress Bhawan at Post Office Chowhumani- says Vice President of Youth Congress, Sushanta Chakraborty. Speaking to TIWN, Mr. Chakraborty had informed that a public meeting is organized where the newly sworned chief along with the prominent leaders of the TPCC will attend the meeting.
Earlier, The All India Congress Committee (AICC) announced MLA Birajit Sinha as a new Tripura Pradesh Congress (TPCC) Chief replacing Dibachandra Hrangkhwal. Pradyot Kishore Debbarman has been appointed as working president along with Asish Saha who has been allowed to retain his post.
Earlier Birajit Sinha has been appointed as the president of faction ridden Tripura Pradesh Congress Committee.
Appointment of Birajit Sinha started heavy resentment among Congress supporters aligned to Sudip Roy Barman.
Mr. Sinha finds along with him the whole lot of dissolved steering committee executives and members.
