AGARTALA, Sep 25 (TIWN): Awareness Campaign has been taken place in Nischintapur Charipara area against drugs trade and other illegal activities on the initiative of Block Chairman with the help of 120 BSF Battalion. The campaign was taken based on secret sources of information of smuggling drugs through the border and the entering of Bangladeshi in India.

Due to door to door campaigning to stop the illegal activities in various areas under Dukli block, the smuggling has reduced for the past 5-7 days.

However, in the coming days those who are associated with such activities have informed that legal action will be taken. People involved in illegal business fled home after going to some houses.
