KAILASHAHAR, Sept 19 (TIWN): Drinking water crisis has been reported in ward No- 4 of Kalishasan tea garden under Rangrunga Gram Panchayat under Kailashahar Chandipur RD block for the past one year.

After informing the concerned Panchayat on behalf of the local residents, the Panchayat Pradhan assured by giving written that water will be supplied within the next 20 days. But with the given words there is no match of work in reality as a month has passed, but drinking water problem is still not solved. Most of the people in that area are forced to drink impure, unhygienic water.

Centering this the local villagers blocked the main road of Rangrunga Ward No. 4 and Kalishasan Tea Garden on Thursday with buckets and pitchers.

However, now it has to be seen whether the drinking water crisis would be resolved or not.
