Lord Viswakarma is considered as swayambhu and Creator of the world. He constructed the holy city of Dwarka, and was also the creator of many fabulous weapons for the gods. 

At different parts of the state, devotees to celebrated Lord Vishwakarma Puja with pomp and deity on Friday.  Every year September 17 is marked as the annual puja of the Hindu deity, Vishwakarma. 

Mass gatherings of devotees are followed in Puja pandals at many places in the state and devotees offer special prayers to their God.
