AGARTALA, Sep 14 (TIWN): More than 5,000 teachers of the 10323 teachers joined at Shiksha Bhawan protest on Wednesday seeking permission to join in schools. The terminated teachers said that they were never terminated but due to the wrong implementation of the High Court, Supreme Court’s verdicts by the Education Dept. they were sacked illegally. Around 5000 terminated teachers participated in the protest today. As per the RTI replied by Supreme Court, it was said that most of the 10323 teachers were not even a party in the entire legal case. Now, 10323 teachers alleged that they were illegally terminated, and must be reappointed in their posts.
Huge numbers of police, TSR were deployed, and barricades were imposed to stop the 10323 teachers in front of the Shiksha Bhawan, Office Lane.
