SABROOM, Sep 7 (TIWN): Teachers’ crisis continues in Tripura schools. In protest against the teachers’ crisis and demanding more numbers of teachers in school, students blocked road in Kalachera, Sabroom. The teachers’ crisis has hit BJP-led Tripura Govt schools across the state. Students demanded more numbers of teachers in their school as it has turned difficult for them to get minimum education in their school due to teachers’ shortage. Due to the blockade, heavy traffic jam was seen on both sides of the road.
Ironically, Tripura has over 3,500 TET qualified unemployed youths who regularly protesting to get jobs.
Recently police lathi-charged the unemployed youths when they gheraoed Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath’s home.
