AGARTALA, Sep 5 (TIWN): 10323 teachers on Monday paid tribute to the demised teachers who died due to uncertain futures, jobless conditions and financial issues preventing them from medical assistance. On the occasion of teachers’ day, 10323 teachers have paid tribute to the departed souls of the sacked teachers. Addressing the media, Joint Movement Committee member Kamal Deb said, “Today is teachers’ day, and we were supposed to celebrate this day in school but unfortunately we are here today. We were cheated by the department. Our jobs were never gone but due to the intrigue of the department, today this is our consequence”.

10323 teachers said, they are not going to quit the battle and continue to fight till success comes and they get back their jobs.

10323 teachers were assured by BJP before 2018 election that once BJP comes to power, they will be reappointed and BJP Govt will establish a permanent solution for the teachers.
