AGARTALA, Sep 4 (TIWN): Ranir Bazar area is again in the headlines for hooliganism of the BJP workers. BJP-backed miscreants are now accused of the torture of a minor.

It is alleged that a minor was beaten up by some people on the charge of theft.

After the incident, the police caught the accused but the local BJP leaders reached the spot and brought them back.

The victim is in critical condition at GB Hospital.
