AGARTALA, Sep 2 (TIWN): A BSF Jawan committed suicide by firing from his rifle, he is working in 80 Battlion BSF force. The BSF Jawan name is identified as Baluram Kudi (32). The incident took place on Friday at the BSF headquarters in Khasiamangal under Teliamura PS.

The police and forensic experts of Teliamura police station reached the spot on Friday morning after receiving information about the incident, but reluctant to say why he committed suicide. However, according to the sources of the army, the BSF Jawan committed suicide centering a family issue.

It is learned that forensic experts from Agartala will bring the Jawan's dead body to Teliamura Sub-Divisional Hospital for post-mortem.
