AGARTALA, Sep 1 (TIWN): A 27 year old man named Abhijit Debnath while on the way to his home at Khayerpur, around 20-25 miscreants beaten him up brutally with sticks at Khayerpur area.

The young man was seriously injured and was brought to GB Hospital by Police. The injured youth said that the youths beat him with sticks and iron rods.

Currently, the injured youth is undergoing treatment at GB Hospital.

Talking with the injured youth it is known he doesn’t know why he was beaten up.

Though on being asked about filing case against the miscreants he said that he has no one in his family only his paternal uncle is there who is paralysed.
