The puja was held in Satmura Arya Samaj area by playing DJ. When the crowd reached Belonia Hall Chaumuhani area, leader Sajal Banik was standing with a bike there.

Suddenly the drunk youths held a severe attack on Sajal Banik. In attempt to save him, many were injured including a Police official Bisweswar Roy. His mobile and documents were also snatched.

All the inured persons were hospitalized.

Locals said, the DJ itself was illegal and volume was too high at such late night.

Two more injured persons Sayan Debnath and Bipul Kanti Majumder were referred to GB hospital for better treatment.

However, nobody was arrested centering the incident.
