PANISAGAR, Aug 30 (TIWN): After joining Congress and winning By-Election, Congress MLA Sudip Barman took a dig at the Deputy CM along with CM on “Chappa Votes”.

Even though Deputy CM Jishnu Debbarman had won in 2018 Assembly Poll, Sudip Roy Barman claimed that that vote was also a fraudulence.

Barman was in Panisagagar, asked by journalists about Congress’s future in Tripura in the upcoming by-poll. Answering the question, Barman said that if “chappa vote” was not held in the last by-poll then Congress would have won all seats. On that time Barman said, “The incumbent CM (Manik Saha) and Deputy CM (Jishnu Debbarman) both are chappa-vote-winners.
