AGARTALA, Aug 29 (TIWN): On Monday BJP All India President JP Nadda held a public meeting in Khumlung Keeping ADC Village Council Election and forthcoming Assembly Election ahead.

Reportedly, 7 members of the BJP Janjati Morcha were on their way to Khumlung in a car to join the public meeting. Suddenly, unknown miscreants attacked the BJP’s activists with sticks and vandalized their vehicle.

Police of several police stations of Khowai Sub-division reached the spot after receiving information about this incident.

Presently, those 7 workers of the BJP Janjati Morcha, including women, are undergoing treatment at the Teliamura Sub-Divisional Hospital. The injured are identified as BJP Asharambari Mandal General Secretary Fallen Debbarma, Ekaran Debbarma, Radharani Debbarma, Bimala Debbarma, Tapan Debbarma, Piyush Debbarma along with MB Debbarma.
