AGARTALA, Aug 28 (TIWN): In Noagaon Dudh Patil area of ??Khayerpur assembly constituency, Congress worker Shankar Nath Poddar came to Mohanpur Bazar for personal work.
Suddenly he was hit by some miscreants who were carrying Lord Ganesha’s idols for immersion. Allegation were raised against BJP behind the attack.
He was brought to GB hospital with serious injuries. It is known that 15 stitches were needed on the head. Congress party workers including Pradesh Congress President Birjit Sinha came to GB Hospital for his treatment.
