AGARTALA, Aug 28 (TIWN): After new Chief Justice Uday Umesh Lalit has taken oath and pending cases are being listed, Tipra Motha supremo Pradyot Manikya on Sunday announced that he will move to the Supreme Court of India with 10323 teachers' plea saying, “I am hoping for a positive outcome of the legal fight”. On his social media platform, Pradyot Manikya stated, “10323 teachers also reserve the right that the Supreme Court would listen to them and they must give at least one opportunity to raise their issue. I held a meeting in Delhi regarding 10323 teachers’ issues and it was decided that we should raise their voices. So many teachers have died amongst them”. His statement backs the claims of the majority of the 10323 teachers who said only 462 teachers' jobs were gone, though it was not mentioned by the Tipra Motha chief directly.
“I had promised them before the election that I will help them legally in the battle and now I will fulfill my promise. I am hoping that a positive outcome from the Court will come and of course this time the Supreme Court will list the case”, said Pradyot Manikya.
