AGARTALA, Aug 28 (TIWN): The City Agartala is turned into unsafe for common people, roaming in city Agartala after evenings have become tough for common people. A married couple identified as Tanumoy Biswas and Piyashi Biswas from Ramnagar area while returning to home noticed a man fell on road in Joyanagar bus stand area after met with an accident, while the couple moved forward to help the injured Person. Suddenly a local person of Joynagar-2 area, allegedly started harassing the married couple instead of co-operating, the accused man also abused the housewife- Piyashi Biswas physically and snatched mobile Phone from her.

The married couple after the incident immediately reported the matter to Ramnagar Outpost, Battala Outpost, West PS but shockingly, the Women Help Line No of Women PS allegedly was in-active. And the couple expressed resentment over inactive Women Help Line No.

It is known the accused person was in an inebriated state and in an intoxicated state the man harassed the couple and abused the housewife- Piyashi Biswas.

However, the couple said that they will take legal action against the man who harassed them.
