AGARTALA, Aug 22 (TIWN): A rally was held in Khowai on Monday raising various demands by opposition CPI-M.
The demands were raised to provide pure drinking water in every area, improvement of electricity service, and reform of dilapidated road communication systems. Demand raised to stop of incessant political terrorism across the state, to recruit teachers as teacher crisis hits in Schools.
Demands raised to solve the Jobless TET qualified teachers who are roaming Jobless, demands also raised to decrease the prices of essential commodities as it has been increasing at an abnormal rate.
The rally passed through Gayaprasad Park, Puran Bazar, North Durganagar, Polster Club, Durganagar and ended at the CPIM District Office and the rally was led by Leftist MLA of Khowai, Nirmal Biswas. DYFI state president Palash Bhowmik, CPIM leader Manoj Das and others were present.
