KADAMTALA, Aug 22 (TIWN): Teachers’ crisis continue across Tripura’s Govt schools while TET qualified unemployed youths are brutally beaten up by police during their protests demanding jobs. Today, the students of Tarakpur Secondary School under Kadamtala police station blocked the road with demands for quality education and more numbers of teachers. Instead of giving placement to the job aspirants who are qualified, Tripura BJP Govt is rather busy faking job data. Not only rural area’s schools but the capital city Agartala’s schools have been suffering due to the teachers’ crisis. Questions are repeatedly being asked, why the Department is not recruiting teachers, even after having sufficient numbers of qualified candidates.
Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath who assured to recruit 14,000 teachers now escaping from media to answer this question. Over 20000 vacant posts are in teaching posts and more than 3000 TET qualified are unemployed, but BJP led State Govt which before the Assembly Election 2018 promised to give 50,000 Govt jobs in a year is now failing to give 3000 jobs to qualified teaching candidates.
