UDAIPUR, Aug 22 (TIWN): After 75 years of independence ‘Right to Live’ only has remained within the constitution as, amid tall speeches of Ministers and ruling Govt leaders, Udaipur Chandrapur Colony’s 26 years old physically challenged man Shashanka Das’s mother’s social pension has been stopped.
The old woman is forced to leave his son at home alone who can not move from his place.
Shashanka’s father died a few days after his birth and since then his mother is his only support.
Talking to the media, the old mother of Shashanka said, “I have to leave my son to home and where I leave him, he stays there the whole day and then when I come back, he can move from the place. No house was given under this Govt. Also, my old-age pension has been stopped”.
The Govt claims on "Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas" but entering Shashanka's home, one can see no Social Pension is being provided either to the physically challenged boy or to his mother.
