AGARTALA, Aug 17 (TIWN): Due to the lack of boundary wall on the school premises, the school became a free zone for various anti-social activities in the dark of night. After coming to the school, students and teachers have to clean the school before they start their daily activities. Such an incident was noticed in Naitalim High School in Baishgharia, Teliamura.
According to the details of the incident, Baishgharia area of Teliamura city is mainly a mixed population of both Hindus and Muslims and living together in this area and the children from that area studying in Naitalim High School. Reportedly, the school has no boundary wall since the very beginning. As a result, the school ground has become a free zone for various anti-social activities in the darkness of the night as well as the grazing ground for cattle too. Although the school authorities have written and informed verbally to the higher authorities about this issue, but nothing has been done. As a result, the teachers and students of the school have to come to the school every day to clean various drugs.
In this regard, a student said that due to the lack of boundary wall in the school nearby cattle enter and make the field dirty.
In this context, the head teacher of the school said in a tone of regret that every day we have to clean various types of intoxicating substances from the school premises. Moreover, the doors of the dining room of the school have in broken state. Although the higher authorities were informed many times in written and verbal form, nothing was done.
However, now it has remained to be seen when the Education Department will take the necessary steps to construct the boundary wall of this school after the publication of the news.
