AGARTALA, Aug 16 (TIWN): Reportedly, a youth named Sachin Roy, 20 years old, beat up another youth named Rahul Roy of the same slum with pistol and rod. The incident took place in Khezurbagan area under NCC police station.

In this incident the victim Rahul received injury on head and nose. After the incident the accused Sachin Roy escaped from the scene before Police came on the incident spot after receiving news. It is known the accused is involved with illegal trade like cannabis, drugs and many other illegal activities and several cases were registered against him.

Case was filed against the accused. However, Police after not finding the accused, Sachin Roy took his father to PS along with a Bolero vehicle.

The incident has spread panic in the area.
