UDAIPUR, Aug 15 (TIWN): Eight school students suffered from serious health, hospitalized after they complained of burning their feet in the scorching heat of the sun while performing judo at the Independence Day celebrations organized by the Gomati District administration on the grounds of Netaji Subhas Mahavidyalaya in Udaipur.
Currently they are under treatment at Gomti District Hospital.
The students were bare-feet. 7 girls and 1 boy reported ill health.
The students are : Maitri Sarkar (15) of Loknath Ashram Road, Negaheen Marak (17) of Patichhari Area, Shravani Talukdar (16) Chanban, Tanya Das (12) of Chanban, Akansa Ghosh (14) of Poultri Road, Indrani Das (13), resident of Giridhari Palli, Uma Begum (15) of Chanban, Tanmoy Das (15) from Mirza. All of them are admitted to the surgical department of Gomati District Hospital.
The actual reason could not be known for this unfortunate incident. Doctor said, their health is stable now.
