AGARTALA, Aug 15 (TIWN): A bike rider injured in a head-on collision among a gas bullet vehicle and a speeding motorbike. The incident occurred in the area adjacent to the gas tunnel under Teliamura PS. It is learned that a speeding bike- TR01AP1850 on its way to Agartala from Teliamura collided with a gas laden bullet vehicle- TR01AM4922 coming from the opposite direction. Devraj Pal, a resident of Teliamura Netaji Nagar area was injured.

Common people passing by after witnessing the incident sent information to Teliamura Fire Department. The fire department personnel rescued the injured bike rider and brought him to Teliamura sub-district hospital.

After given primary treatment the Doctor on duty at Teliamura Sub-Divisional Hospital referred injured Devaraj to Agartala GB Hospital for better treatment as the condition of the injured bike rider was critical.
