AGARTALA, Aug 12 (TIWN): Reacting to the violent incident at Khayerpur on Thursday, Congress held a press meet at Congress state headquarter at Post Office Chowmuhani, lambasting the BJP Govt’s sponsored Violent-Culture’s cultivation. Congress Tripura Incharge Szarita Laitphlang said, “My question is to the Chief Minister of Tripura, who promised to give house-to-house jobs whereas BJP has now provided jobs only to the goons to manufacture such products (Laitphlang was showing a brick peace in her hand)…” “The police officers should be ashamed of what they did yesterday. The SPO who assured us to take us to police station failed to protect the Congress activists. Do you have any shame left ? You have already sold your land for your post”, said Laitphlang.
