AGARTALA, Aug 10 (TIWN): AMC cleaning staff raised 5 points demands and placed deputation to AMC Mayor on Wednesday.

The demands were raised to regularise their Job, to provide a fixed salary of Rs 20,000. Demands also raised that if any cleaning staff died while performing duty then to provide financial assistance to the family and a job. To arrange for work at the right place according to their quality and to provide free treatment if any cleaning staff got injured during work hours.

All the cleaning staff raising demand gheraoed the Municipal office. However, it has now remained to be seen whether their demands will be fulfilled or not by Mayor
