AGARTALA, Aug 10 (TIWN): Over 5000 nurses are jobless in Tripura. The MPW passed out unemployed youths gathered today at Gorkhabasti, Health Director’s office demanding immediate recruitment. The job aspirants disclosed that in last 4.5 years of the BJP Govt, not a single MPW was recruited. Rather the ongoing recruitment of the Left era of 2017 which was to recruit 791 MPWs was cancelled by this Govt after it assumed power. Talking to media, the agitators said, “We are repeatedly meeting the Director and we are told that massive vacancies are there but there is no attempt to fill up the posts. It is more than 4 years that we had passed outs”.
