AGARTALA, Aug 8 (TIWN): Tripura Congress has protested against massive price hikes of daily commodities, petrol, diesel prices, GST in Agartala in a unique way of staging demonstration. LPG gas cylinder models, an old motorcycle like things were carried by the agitators and then put the motorcycle in fire. Congress Tripura Incharge Szarita Laitphlang told media that under the Modi Govt it’s only about “Hum Do, Humare Do…” and nobody listens to common men. “Petrol has crossed 100 longback, rupees values are record breaking low. Common men unable to purchase cylinders in their homes. In such situation, Congress has continued protest and our protest will be continuing till the end of the Modi Govt”, said Laitphlang.
Congress burnt a motorbike protesting against the petrol, diesel price hikes. The issue of unemployment was also raised during the protest.
