AGARTALA, Aug 5 (TIWN): Tripura Congress organized a protest against the unemployment and other issues on Friday. The protest was a part of Raj Bhawan Abhijan and nationwide Civil Disobedience movement raising voice against the increasing unemployment, downing values of rupees, price hikes etc. Addressing the masses, Congress MLA Sudip Roy Barman said, “Today unemployed youths are jobless and such frustrations are causing massive damages. Increasing drug addictions and peddling can’t exclude the unemployment issue for their causes. It’s a shame that the Govt has failed to start a single rehabilitation center for the Drug addicts”.
“People are bound to send their children to rehab centers like in Silchar. When the parents are going there seeking their children back, they are not returning them seeking a lot of money”, added Barman.
“Nobody can fight against these issues except Congress. People know that because they experienced where the country was in Congress’s era and where are they now”, said Barman.
