AGARTALA, Aug 4 (TIWN): Anganwadi workers and helpers recently placed a deputation to the Social Welfare Minister Santana Chakma with their various demands.

The demands of Anganwadi workers included their regularization, extension of service period, and gratuity, but the demand for regularization is not only from the Anganwadi workers, but SSA, RMSA, NHM and other depts contractual workers in wait of being regularized whom the BJP party promised to regularize once they are in power.

A delegation of five members from among those workers handed over a copy of the supporting demands to the Minister’s office.

The workers alleged that this Govt is violating Supreme Court’s order in the regularization, gratuity like matters.
