AGARTALA, Aug 3 (TIWN): Police’s brutality under HIRA Era again comes to notice on Wednesday after CPIM’s wings SFI and TSU held protest against Tripura’s most burning issue-Teacher crisis in Govt Schools.
It is noted that Tripura Govt Schools are reeling under Teacher crisis for long, which pushed the school students to organise protest day after day and due to teacher crisis the Education System has extremely deteriorated. Amid that the Govt. is also not recruiting the adequate number of teachers despite having TET qualified teachers. Due to teacher shortages in Schools the students including teachers are facing difficulties. Centering the Govt’s slumbering role against the Education System instead of upholding the Education System, CPIM’s wings SFI and TSU held protests in Battala area to recruit an adequate number of teachers. But the Tripura Police detained them and dragged the SFI and TSU activists to the bus brutally.
Police after detaining the SFI, TSU activists took them to AD Nagar police ground.
