AGARTALA, August 3 (TIWN): A serious charge was raised against a school’s midday meal cook of stealing government’s equipment from School, selling it and storing it in own house.

The accused school's cook was identified as Mangal Singh Debbarma of Ravindra Debbarma Para Junior Basic School of Sayadachra ADC Village under Fatikroy Constituency. Allegations were raised against him that he sold various school equipment including tube well, boundary fence (tin). Not only that, complaint was also raised against Cook that he kept student’s food and water tank at his home from school.

The guardian informed the matter to other teachers and demanded immediate action against the teacher. Oppositely, the cook Mangal Singh Debbarma himself admitted that he embezzled government items from School.
