KUMARGHAT, Aug 3 (TIWN): TSECL is in trouble for not paying the bills to the contractors. Nikhil Das, an approved contractor, has withdrawn the service of the rented vehicle at the Kumarghat sub division office of TSECL without receiving the bills for the past few months.

It has been reported that three vehicles of contractor Nikhil Das were on rent in two offices of the corporation at Kumarghat. With which the corporation workers were running to fix the electrical faults.

It is alleged that the corporation has been withholding a large amount of vehicle rental bills for several months by not paying for the vehicle rents properly to the contractor.

DGM Kumarghat Sub-Division Ratan Debbarma said that after being pressured in the bilateral meeting, the contractor has expressed his opinion to provide vehicle service again with the assurance of paying one month's bill in time. Meanwhile, due to the lack of vehicles, the service was disrupted.
