AGARTALA, Aug 3 (TIWN): On Tuesday night, police of Amtali police station recovered a large quantity of intoxicating cough syrup from Tata Car in Chowmuni area of Bhadarghat College.

The market value of the items is said to be above lakhs of rupees, but the driver of that car managed to escape.

The police of AD Nagar police station seized the vehicle and brought it to the police station. A case was lodged against the owner of the vehicle.
