AGARTALA, July 30 (TIWN): A protest rally was organized on Saturday jointly organized by SFI and TSU of Belonia sub-committee, demanding adequate number of teachers in every school and withdrawal of school fees under Vidyajyoti scheme.
The rally started from CPIM Belonia Sub-Divisional Office, passed through Jagannath Bari, Bank Road and again ended in front of CPIM Bilonia Sub-Divisional Office. At the end of the rally, a road meeting was held, the leaders of the student organization said that the schools of the state are suffering from shortage of teachers.
Demanding the withdrawal of fees for schools under the Vidyajyoti scheme, and adequate number of teachers, the protest rally was held. And the meeting were attended by Sukanta Majumder, secretary of SFI of Belonia Sub-Division, Youth leader Madhusudan Datta, leaders and workers of other student organizations were present
