Biplab Deb who is yet to vacate CM quarter called the media and organized a press meet in CM quarter. Talking to media, Deb said, “I have given 36 seats to BJP in Tripura. Now it’s the duty of present Chief Minister Manik Saha to increase the seats”.

“Only in 3 years, I have done it and managed 36 seats for BJP to win in 2018. I also have told Manik Saha that he should make it 60. In fact, Manik Saha agreed that it was me who gave 36 seats to BJP and now he is in dilemma as holding both CM and President posts”, added Biplab deb to the claim.

Biplab Deb was sacked from the CM post on May 13 followed by allegations against him of corruption and moral character degradation.
