AGARTALA, July 22 (TIWN): Tripura Gramin Bank’s Employees Association, Officers Union, Retired Association held a protest against ‘Privatization of Bank’.
Their program was started on July 15 and it will be continued and in September month Gramin Bank will call for a strike.
An employee stated that Gramin Bank is linked with Sponsored Bank and as a result the staff’s voices not directly reaching to Govt. So their demand is to remove Gramin Bank from Sponsor bank and link all Gramin Banks together and create NRBI. The staff also said that their Promotion Policy is not running accurately and they raised the demand that the Promotion Policy should be maintained properly.
The staff alleged that the recruitment process is not being done in an accurate manner. The staff demanded to start the Old Pension System by canceling the New Pension System. They demanded Equal Pay for Equal work
On 12 points demand the Protest was held.
