AGARTALA, July 22 (TIWN): AIDSO (All India Democratic Student Organization) placed deputation to the Director of Higher Secondary Education at Shiksha Bhawan.

The demands were raised as College admission of every student who has passed Higher Secondary should be ensured.  All students who are financially weak should be given the opportunity to study the subjects of their choice in colleges near their residence.  Every college should increase the number of seats in honours courses in all subjects. Professors should be appointed immediately in the colleges, so that the Colleges do not face trouble due to shortages of Professors.

The memorandum was placed under the leadership of AIDSO Secretary Ramprasad Acharjee.
