AGARTALA, July 21 (TIWN): On Thursday a python was recovered from a paddy field in Chandanagar in Bishalgarh.

Reportedly, a farmer Helan Mia of Dhwajnagar area went to work in the paddy field where he spotted a Python lying on the ground. Hearing his screaming, the locals of the area rushed quickly and rescued the python from the paddy field.

Later, when information was given to the Sepahijala Forest Department, the forest workers led by Sukanta Das, an officer of the Sepahijala Forest Department rushed to the spot. Later the Python was rescued and taken to the Zoo.

It is needless to say that pythons are constantly being rescued from different areas in Bishalgarh subdivision and people are scared over python's existience.
